Title: Sr. Network Engineer

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Duration: 9+Months

Term: Contract / Fulltime

Required: Tasks & Duties

Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written & presentation.

5-8 years Network Experience Cisco Stack

5 years’ Experience Network Security IPS IDS 

5 years’ Firewall Experience Juniper or Cisco ASA.

Engineering, providing level-3 support and documenting Network Security tool-sets.

The primary responsibilities will include supporting the build and design of the international data centers. This will include all necessary security tool-sets and engineering for them to ensure their proper configuration and design.

Documentation is essential for turnover to Support and Operations teams.

There may be after-hour work, weekends, and/or non-standard hours dependent upon he location of the candidate.

Skills: Skills Include:

Analytical Network Engineering Skill-sets In depth understanding of enterprise networks Professional Mircosoft Visio Skills IDS/IPS (NGIPS) Architecture / Engineering / Support: Cisco Preferred Firewall (NGFW) Architecture / Engineering / Support: Juniper Preferred Load Balancer Architecture / Engineering / Support: F5 Preferred Web Application Firewall Technology / Engineering / Support: F5 Preferred SIEM Technology Utilization Health Monitoring Technology Utilization Web Content Control Technology Engineering

Keywords: 

Education: BA Degree or Military Service Recommended At least 6-8-year’s experience in Network Technology/Services and at least 5-year experience in Security Technology/Services.

Experience in both Security Tool sets and Network Design and Tool-sets is critical to the success of the candidate and project.

Preferred certifications in Firewall Technology, IPS Technology, WAF Technology, and/or Security Certifications.
