  • At least 7 years of substantial, staff-level experience as a data scientist in product environments.
  • Experience building product analytics from scratch and owning them end to end, including instrumentation, data pipelines, and dashboards in live product environments.
  • Deep expertise running product experiments with sufficient statistical rigor to evaluate results, noise, and experimental design.
  • Ability to operate as the sole subject matter expert and set direction independently.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into tractable data problems and translate findings into actionable decisions for Product, go-to-market, and leadership.

  • Design and run cohort and funnel experiments to validate or reject hypotheses and build feedback loops.
  • Partner with Product, go-to-market, and Behavioral Science as a peer decision-maker to shape the roadmap, market thesis, and strategic bets.
  • Establish practices, documentation, and standards that allow data science to scale as the venture grows.
