RefinedScience builds a data platform that combines clinical and biological data to support precision drug development and clinical trial optimization using AI and machine learning. It curates high-fidelity data and runs computational analyses to identify which patients are most likely to respond and how to design trials, delivering data-driven insights as a service to pharmaceutical companies and healthcare institutions. Unlike providers that only offer datasets, RefinedScience integrates rich data with advanced analytics to give actionable, patient-focused guidance. Its goal is to improve patient outcomes and shorten drug development timelines by increasing trial success and speeding up discovery to approval.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • September 2026 website highlights predictive AML survival models and refreshed product positioning.
  • October 2025 Verily collaboration expands validation, distribution, and enterprise credibility beyond Colorado.
  • August 2026 coverage says RefinedScience is expanding from AML into pancreatic and ovarian cancers.

What critics are saying

  • No open positions in August 2026 signals restrained scaling and thin commercial momentum.
  • RefinedScience depends on CU Anschutz and UCHealth data access; any governance shift breaks differentiation.
  • If pharma partners favor cheaper synthetic-data vendors, RefinedScience becomes a niche research service.

What makes RefinedScience unique

  • CU Anschutz and UCHealth built RefinedScience on proprietary longitudinal clinical plus biobank data.
  • August 2026 materials show single-cell omics, AI, and functional testing across disease programs.
  • The platform already produced OncoVerity, proving its data layer can spawn new companies.
