  • Experience representing security directly to customers and prospects, including at executive level.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering leadership without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience working alongside a peer governance, risk, compliance, or information security function with clearly defined but collaborative boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Audit customer deployments for alignment with agreed security specifications.
  • Source, deploy, and operate security tooling for Radiant's data centers.
  • Lead physical, environmental, and infrastructure-layer security across Radiant's data center sites.
  • Manage site-level risk, including access control, surveillance, third-party and vendor access, and environmental controls.
  • Define and own the tooling strategy for the Security Operations team and collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer and Information Security teams to build or buy necessary tooling.
  • Build support across Engineering, Platform, and Product for the security practice.
  • Embed security into how Radiant designs and ships infrastructure without slowing delivery.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Information Security on shared risk reporting, security testing, including internal drills and external penetration testing, and audit evidence gathering.
  • Develop security culture, development, and training for the organization.
  • Maintain a clear division of ownership with the Vice President of Information Security through regular collaboration across both domains.
  • Own incident response and crisis management when customer-facing infrastructure is affected.
  • Run post-incident reviews and use them to drive resilience improvements.
  • Communicate directly with customers during major incidents when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience securing artificial intelligence-native, graphics processing unit-accelerated, or high-performance computing infrastructure.
  • Background in telecommunications, hyperscale cloud, or colocation data center operators.
  • Familiarity with sovereign or regulated infrastructure security requirements.
  • Experience with customer-facing security assurance processes such as requests for proposals, due diligence, and trust centers.
