Responsibilities
  • Communicate by telephone, email, and fax with internal and external customers about freight charges, pickups, tracing, tracking, proof of delivery, and related issues.
  • Perform data entry, including scanning bills, entering pickup and delivery information, recording fuel mileage, processing freight bills, and processing payroll.
  • Process paperwork and invoices and monitor checks and cash for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Process and monitor paperwork and hazardous-materials information for loads departing from or arriving at the facility.
  • Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
  • Assist with monitoring and compliance activities involving new hires, safety, pickup and delivery, overage-shortage-damage, payroll, and accounts payable.
