About the Company

Swarm Aero

Autonomous UAV swarm manufacturing and software

Swarm Aero builds large autonomous UAV swarms and the Legion command-and-control software to manage them. Its products include Group 5 drones that are designed for high-rate production using composite airframes, plus software that coordinates many aircraft even when communications are limited. They pursue scale and affordability by treating manufacturability as a design feature to enable mass production, aiming to offer a cost-effective successor to the MQ-9 Reaper for ISR and strike missions, with AFRL contracts signaling government-backed advancement. The company’s goal is to empower small teams to operate thousands of drones in complex, low‑bandwidth environments, expanding scalable air power for U.S. defense operations.
