About the job
- Have five years of experience as a mechanic.
- Hold a DEP diploma in industrial mechanics or another diploma from equivalent training.
- Have a sense of analysis and observation.
- Ensure routine equipment inspections and the proper functioning of processes.
- Perform prescribed preventive maintenance according to equipment manufacturers and take responsibility for corrective work.
- Perform various mechanical repair and maintenance tasks.
- Commission new equipment.
- Use the municipality's preventive maintenance software.
- Report any anomalies or defects observed in machinery and equipment.
- Schedule daily work according to priorities, urgencies, and the availability of materials and equipment.
- Make the required modifications, adjustments, and repairs to equipment, and recommend corrective actions.
- Optimize the operation of various equipment.
- Develop maintenance tasks.
- Participate in related work concerning the operation and maintenance of the facility.
- Experience maintaining pumping and water-treatment equipment is an asset.
