Requirements
  • An active license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Florida is required.

  • Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safety.
  • Educate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuries.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plans.
  • Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy.
  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice.
