Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
Responsibilities
  • Review, code, and enter supplier invoices into Workday, confirming approvals, supporting documentation, and accurate company, cost center, location, spend category/general ledger account, project, and grant coding.
  • Process daily settlement payment runs and other electronic payments.
  • Maintain vendor records, W-9 forms, payment terms, and banking information.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on missing invoices and unapplied credits.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on overdue or outstanding items.
  • Review credit-card transactions for receipts, approvals, business purpose, and accurate accounting coding.
  • Reconcile company credit-card statements and ensure payments are made by the due date.
  • Assist with month-end close, including accounts payable accruals, prepaid expenses, and accounts payable subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations.
  • Prepare accounts payable and credit-card schedules for management and external auditors.
  • Assist with annual 1099 review, reconciliation, and filing.
  • Perform other assigned accounting and administrative duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred.
