A bachelor's degree with major coursework in corrections, counseling, criminology, psychology, social work, or a closely related field, and four years of experience in court services work.
Graduate work in the social sciences, public administration, or business administration may substitute for up to two years of required experience at 15 hours per year of experience.
Experience in court services work may substitute for up to two years of required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities
Supervise a moderate-size court services program for an entire district and perform administrative duties; the work may include a limited client caseload.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate court services officers at the supervisory level.
Evaluate performance and staffing needs in assigned areas and recommend hires, terminations, merit increases, and other personnel actions as needed.
Build and maintain contacts with community resources to support court services programs and prepare office budget recommendations.
Provide initial and in-service training at the district level and promote participation in regional and state training programs.
Oversee caseload reporting and review program outcomes and accomplishments.

A master's degree or graduate studies in the social science field.
Computer knowledge.
Knowledge of Kansas Sentencing Guidelines, including pre-sentence investigations and the use of KSApp and Domo.
