  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including experience in internal communications, employee communications, corporate communications, or organizational communications.
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies and plans for complex business initiatives, organizational priorities, or enterprise-wide programs.
  • Experience developing, writing, editing, and proofreading employee-facing communications, including executive or leadership messaging, emails, intranet content, newsletters, announcements, presentations, or town hall materials.

Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of employee communication plans aligned with the company’s culture and business priorities.
  • Draft and edit clear, engaging content for employee channels such as email, intranet, and employee messaging platforms.
  • Assist in developing materials for executive communications, town halls, and company-wide announcements.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal communication campaigns and events.
  • Help maintain and update content across communication channels, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Adapt content to meet the needs of varied employee groups, including frontline, hybrid, and remote employees.
  • Apply brand and editorial guidelines in all content creation.
  • Contribute to tracking and maintaining content calendars and communication deliverables.
  • Maintain working knowledge of employee audience types and communication preferences.
  • Adapt writing tone, timing, and channel use based on employee group needs.
  • Help collect and review employee feedback through surveys, pulse checks, and other tools.
  • Assist with basic data gathering and insight-sharing with team members to improve message targeting.
  • Support inclusive and accessible communications that reflect the company’s diverse global workforce.
  • Write and proofread content such as emails, articles, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, and designers to ensure message clarity and impact.

  • Assist in maintaining internal templates and contribute to content planning documentation.

Stryker completes first hip surgery using FDA-authorized Apple Vision Pro app SportSuite Vision

Stryker has completed the first surgical procedure using its FDA-authorized SportSuite Vision application on Apple Vision Pro at Duke Health. The hip arthroscopy was performed by orthopaedic surgeon Dr Chad Mather III at the academic medical centre. SportSuite Vision received FDA De Novo authorization on 17 July, making it the first application approved for intraoperative use with Apple Vision Pro. The technology allows surgeons to view arthroscopic video, HipCheck, HipMap and CT imaging within their field of vision during procedures. The spatial computing application aims to reduce reliance on traditional monitors positioned throughout operating rooms. By bringing multiple data sources into the surgeon's field of view, it supports a more streamlined and ergonomic surgical workflow during complex arthroscopic procedures.

Stryker to acquire ZuriMED's rotator cuff augmentation technology for shoulder portfolio

Stryker has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ZuriMED, a privately held developer of the FiberLocker System for rotator cuff repair. The commercialised soft tissue augmentation technology is designed to provide increased biomechanical strength and reduce clinical failure in rotator cuff procedures. According to Stryker, the acquisition will strengthen its shoulder portfolio and expand support for shoulder specialists across sports medicine and arthroplasty. Rotator cuff augmentation is described as one of the fastest-growing areas in sports medicine and a significant opportunity in shoulder care. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Stryker and ZuriMED will operate as separate entities until closing is complete.

Stryker holds steady despite cyber disruption as robotics drive 9% organic growth
