About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years in a client-facing strategic role, such as management consulting, brand or marketing strategy, agency account leadership, or enterprise customer success accountable for outcomes.
  • A record of growing accounts, with the ability to explain revenue expansion or net revenue retention materially influenced and how it was achieved.
  • Experience working directly with CMOs, brand leaders, or equivalent executives, including challenging briefs, defending recommendations, and handling ambiguous answers.
  • Ability to turn signals, data, and complexity into a clear written argument that senior executives can quickly understand and act on.
  • Fluency in AI-driven discovery, or the ability to become fluent quickly; understand how AI search, large language models, and answer engines are changing how brands are found and understood, or have the curiosity and technical range to learn quickly.
  • Comfort reading dashboards, distinguishing signal from noise, and translating findings into recommendations; able to work comfortably with technical teams without needing to code.
  • Ability to build and defend strategic recommendations, connect them to outcomes, communicate technical work to CMOs, and explain client problems to engineers.
  • Ability to create and document processes where none exist, make decisions with imperfect information, and collaborate with experts by providing engineering with clear context.
  • Ability to maintain account plans, prepare Intelligence Briefs, make expansion cases, and follow through on commitments.
Responsibilities
  • Own a portfolio of brand clients and the strategy that turns the platform into a business advantage for each client.
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day account plan tied to launches, release calendars, campaign windows, pipeline cycles, and market shifts, and ensure clients can use it to guide their work.
  • Own the client relationship after the sale, including kickoffs, weekly working sessions, quarterly reviews, executive briefings, and strategic questions between meetings.
  • Determine Fix Pack strategy, including what to deploy, when to deploy it, and why; build the rationale with clients, align internal work, and connect each intervention to a larger strategic objective. Engineering owns execution.
  • Drive account expansion, identify opportunities to create more value during quarterly reviews, and carry a soft quota on net new annual recurring revenue across the portfolio.
  • Represent the company's judgment, responsiveness, and value to clients, supporting renewals, expansion, and referrals.
  • Share observed patterns with product, engineering, and the broader team to improve the organization’s understanding.
  • Create, document, and improve processes and playbooks when gaps arise.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering to shape solutions around client needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in film, entertainment, consumer, or another category where launches and release calendars shape brand strategy.
  • Experience at an early-stage company, including building processes that did not already exist.
  • Experience in programmatic advertising, agency work, or search engine optimization/generative engine optimization.

About the company

Emberos is an AI brand-management company that helps organizations see, predict, shape, and prove how large language models (like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek) represent their brands. It uses a Brand Knowledge Graph and a set of specialized agents—Scout, Pilot, Flow, Merchant, and Echo—to monitor AI answers, forecast shifts in brand narrative, execute remediation across marketing systems, and govern outcomes. This approach differentiates Emberos by offering integrated, brand-focused governance across multiple AI models, with an emphasis on visibility, prediction, and control over brand representation. The company counts clients such as The Honest Company and RA Capital Management, and has raised funding to scale its CreatorGraph and enterprise AI brand infrastructure. Its goal is to help brands manage and prove how AI speaks for them at scale across diverse AI platforms.

What believers are saying

  • September 2026 seed raised $5.5 million, lifting total funding to $6.7 million.
  • Emberos says it already runs inside Stagwell, Honest Company, RA Capital, Monigle.
  • ADWEEK recognized Stagwell Search+ in 2026, validating Emberos-powered AI search infrastructure.

What critics are saying

  • Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Perplexity can commoditize brand-answer monitoring by 2027.
  • Customer proof relies on named logos; churn at Stagwell or BERO crushes credibility.
  • A 14-person team and 12% headcount decline strain delivery; missed enterprise implementations kill momentum.

What makes Emberos unique

  • Emberos sells a closed-loop Brand Knowledge Graph, not dashboard-only AI visibility.
  • Stagwell Search+ uses Emberos, giving immediate distribution through 70 agency relationships.
  • CreatorGraph extends monitoring to creators, communities, and publishers across AI-answer ecosystems.

Emberos names three commercial leaders to scale AI Brand Management across enterprise, Agency and gaming.

Emberos names three commercial leaders to scale AI Brand Management across enterprise, Agency and gaming. Veterans of Kargo, Google, WPP and PlayStation join the AI Brand Management company amid business growth, first hires post $5.5 million seed round. Oct. 13, 2026 Press Contacts Ashliegh Gehl LOS ANGELES - Emberos, the operating system for AI Brand Management, today announced three senior commercial appointments: Aakash Arya as Vice President of Sales, Enterprise; Adam Alter as Head of Agency; and Brian Maihack as Head of Growth. Arya will lead direct sales to brands, Alter will lead relationships with agencies and their clients, and Maihack will build the company's business with game publishers and platforms. The hires follow emberos' oversubscribed $5.5 million seed round in September, which brought total funding to $6.7 million. In its first year, the company moved from pre-seed to production inside global holding companies, entertainment studios and consumer brands. Most recently, emberos was selected from more than 600 RFI submissions as one of 11 companies in HorizonOS Labs' third cohort, Horizon Media's structured innovation accelerator. "AI Brand Management touches every corner of business, from CMOs and agency leaders to platform teams in gaming," said Justin Inman, Founder and CEO of emberos. "Aakash, Adam, and Brian have each spent over a decade earning trust in these spaces. When you're defining a category that didn't exist two years ago, that track record and experience is incredibly important." Aakash Arya Arya will lead enterprise sales from Los Angeles. He joins from Kargo, where he rose to Vice President of West Sales, helped scale the West business and led teams named ThinkLA Partner of the Year in back-to-back years. "One of the biggest questions for brand leaders today is: what is AI saying about us, and how do we respond?" said Arya. "Emberos gives brands the intelligence and tools to answer that question and take action. I'm excited to help make AI Brand Management an essential enterprise capability." Adam Alter Based in New York, Alter leads go-to-market for agencies. He most recently served as Managing Director, North America at WPP's Acceleration, after six years at Google. "When something changes in how people find brands, clients call their agency first, and right now that call is often about AI," said Alter. "We partner with agencies so they have real data on how models represent their clients, and solutions to help their clients manage their presence in LLMs. When agencies can be trusted advisors to brands on technology evolutions, all parties win. I want every major agency to be able to tap into our support." Brian Maihack Maihack will lead growth, starting with gaming. At PlayStation, he was the founding executive of the company's global advertising business, which became a significant revenue stream under his leadership before his role expanded to lead new commercial ventures. Since 2024, he has advised Life360 and several AI companies. "I've spent most of my career helping game companies create value along the player journey. AI is collapsing that journey into a single surface, and the channels we used to treat as tried-and-true don't map to it like they once did. Marketing and commercial teams are starting to see that," said Maihack. "I joined emberos for the opportunity to help lead the industry through that shift, from the moment a player discovers a game to long after they're playing it." Founded in 2025 and based in Los Angeles, emberos is the operating system for AI Brand Management. The platform enables brands to understand how AI systems perceive them, predict where their narrative is heading, shape that narrative at the source and prove what changed. Powered by the emberos Brand Knowledge Graph and five specialized AI agents (Scout, Pilot, Flow, Merchant and Echo), emberos gives organizations the intelligence, execution, measurement and governance infrastructure required to manage their brands across AI systems including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek. Emberos is backed by a private consortium of strategic angel investors. Learn more at emberos.ai.

Ex-Googler's AI visibility startup Emberos secures $1.2M to help brands shape AI-generated answers

Emberos, founded by former Google executive Justin Inman, has raised $1.2 million in pre-seed funding from a single angel investor. The startup helps brands understand and control how they appear in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Grok. Founded last year, the 14-employee company uses a proprietary Brand Knowledge Graph to map how brands, products and narratives evolve across the internet, enabling predictive capabilities rather than reactive reporting. The platform integrates with tools like Slack and HubSpot to push recommended fixes directly into marketing workflows. According to Emberos data, 90% of 500 surveyed brands have factual errors across at least one major language model. The company plans to raise a seed round by the end of the first quarter.
