About the job
- Team-leading skills and a minimum of five years of team-leading experience.
- A bachelor's degree; a major in Mechanical, Trading, or Logistic is preferred.
- Profound knowledge and experience in MRP II/SAP, MM, lean logistics, and Pull System, including Kanban and Supermarket.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, good PC skills, and good knowledge of SAP material planning.
- Logical and Continuous Improvement Process thinking.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- German language skills are an advantage but are not mandatory.
- Relevant work experience, including production or project management, is preferred.
- Lead, coach, and develop the operative teams in Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Management at Ahmedabad.
- Set up and optimize long-term material plans according to market forecasts, consumption, and capacity, and negotiate effectively with suppliers to ensure material preparation and capacity reservation.
- Manage second-level escalations in cases of supplier delivery issues, with functional support from the PkP MRP planning manager.
- Manage KPIs and targets defined by DC-MH Central Logistics.
- Manage material-related projects to optimize the supply chain and improve supplier delivery performance.
- Manage suppliers and annual logistics agreements, including consignment stock, SA, LT, EDI, TLV, and supplier evaluation.
- Open personality, team spirit, and active communication skills.
- Honesty, responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
