Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in designing and project engineering.
  • Experience working with a manufacturing company in design and drafting.
  • Experience designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for chiller plant systems in the data center industry.
  • Experience reviewing design drawings and models developed in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Revit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall design responsibility for assigned projects and serve as the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and client.
  • Be accountable for the design of mechanical, structural, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, Building Management, Extra Low Voltage, Life Safety, and Security systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Prepare and issue engineering requests for quotation and requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Submit company drawings and documentation in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Examine and authorize documentation and drawings from vendors.
  • Review and disposition non-conformance reports generated by manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop installation and operations manuals tailored to specific job requirements and submit them to the client.
Desired Qualifications
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Experience with heat load calculations and lighting simulation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Visual Basic, or Visual Basic for Applications.
