- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in designing and project engineering.
- Experience working with a manufacturing company in design and drafting.
- Experience designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for chiller plant systems in the data center industry.
- Experience reviewing design drawings and models developed in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, and Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Maintain overall design responsibility for assigned projects and serve as the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and client.
- Be accountable for the design of mechanical, structural, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, Building Management, Extra Low Voltage, Life Safety, and Security systems, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare and issue engineering requests for quotation and requisitions in a timely manner.
- Submit company drawings and documentation in accordance with contract specifications.
- Examine and authorize documentation and drawings from vendors.
- Review and disposition non-conformance reports generated by manufacturing facilities.
- Develop installation and operations manuals tailored to specific job requirements and submit them to the client.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer.
- Experience with heat load calculations and lighting simulation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Visual Basic, or Visual Basic for Applications.
