Requirements
- Previous exposure to circuit simulation
- Experience in EDA-relevant software development, particularly C/C++ unix development
- Background in numerical techniques for VLSI circuit simulation or related general numerical simulation algorithms
- Knowledge of semiconductor device modeling
- Current student pursuing MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Understanding of analog/RF/custom IC design and verification practices

- Assisting R&D staff in developing new algorithms and software for the Spectre circuit simulator
- Researching new algorithmic approaches
- Implementing new features through software engineering
- Performing software validation and testing
- Investigating performance/accuracy issues in the simulator
