Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Employers still buy spiritual care; CBP expanded voluntary chaplaincy and neutral access in 2025.
  • MyChap video chat and multi-channel access broaden utilization across factories, remote workers, and families.
  • 2026 faith-friendly workplace surveys reward formal chaplaincy, strengthening Marketplace Chaplains' sales narrative.

What critics are saying

  • ComPsych, Lyra, Spring Health, and Kyan Health commoditize EAP buyers with AI-driven engagement.
  • Religious-discrimination scrutiny around workplace faith programs invites Title VII complaints and EEOC disputes.
  • If clients reclassify chaplaincy as nonessential, nonprofit funding and chaplain recruitment collapse quickly.

What makes Marketplace Chaplains unique

  • MyChap app gives 24/7 confidential access to assigned chaplains, updated 2024-10-11.
  • Marketplace Chaplains serves 1,571,834 lives through 2,109 chaplains across 62 regions, 2026.
  • Onsite chaplain visits build trust beyond hotline-based EAPs and generic digital wellness tools.
