Requirements
  • Possess a minimum of one year of recent experience in a medicine unit within a hospital.
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ.
  • Be fully available to work a full-time schedule across day, evening, and night shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Provide complete nursing care to hospitalized patients in active medicine or surgery, including assessments, follow-ups, dressings, and safe medication administration.
  • Continuously monitor patients clinically and respond quickly to changes in their health status.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and medical staff on the unit.
  • Plan and coordinate patient discharges and transfers.
  • Ensure high-quality patient record handoffs during shift changes across day, evening, and night shifts.
