Requirements
  • At least one year of experience working as a Certified Home Health Aide.
  • At least one year of experience checking vital signs and reporting or documenting information on clinical charts.
  • Completion of Home Health Aide training.
  • California Home Health Aide certification and CPR certification.
  • General knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail for chart documentation.
  • Strong time-management and calendaring skills, with the ability to deliver documentation on time.
  • Strong experience using computers and computer systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, or other comparable systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
  • Provide patients with skilled services and assistance with basic daily activities under the supervision of a licensed or certified clinician.
  • Check temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist with exercises and repetitive routines prescribed by clinicians.
  • Assist patients with getting in and out of bed, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and feeding.
  • Assist with ambulatory transfers.
  • Perform light housekeeping.
