About the job
- Currently enrolled in a Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related program.
- Have basic knowledge of survey instruments and GPS technology.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Have good organizational and communication skills.
- Be able to collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Assist with field data collection using GPS and total stations.
- Help process and enter data in Civil3D (CAD).
- Support the creation and verification of boundary and topographic maps.
- Maintain and organize survey equipment and field records.
- Work with project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of survey data.
- Assist with construction staking for municipal and private projects.
