Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Affairs, Financial Services, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Strong familiarity with financial industry products and markets and their corresponding rules and regulations is required.
  • The candidate must be able to quickly grasp complex global business and regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Support and organize Compliance’s involvement in various projects and processes.
  • Serve as the key Compliance contact for selected working groups and business lines while developing subject matter expertise in regulations applicable to the business.
  • Collaborate with the broader compliance team to deliver high-quality work products.
  • Partner with business leaders, Legal, Risk, and other control functions on regulatory, supervisory, and business-driven projects.
  • Serve as a key compliance advisor on regulatory, supervisory, and business-driven projects.
  • Help enhance compliance risk management practices across the division.
  • Interact daily with the global Private Wealth Management business and compliance teams.
  • Track, review, and analyze regulatory updates and assist with implementing necessary changes across the business.
  • Prepare supervisory meeting materials detailing key metrics and regulatory issues.
  • Assist with firm risk assessment processes for Private Wealth Management business lines.
  • Review marketing materials used to pitch Private Wealth Management products and services to clients.
  • Respond to regulatory examinations and inquiries pertaining to Private Wealth Management.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for Private Wealth Management.
Desired Qualifications
  • A graduate degree in law, business, or another relevant program is preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant post-undergraduate experience supporting broker-dealer, investment adviser, wealth management, private banking, or fiduciary businesses is preferred.
  • One to two years of relevant experience may be acceptable for candidates holding a Master's, PhD, MBA, JD, or equivalent degree.

ByteDance's $20B loan attracts $30B in orders to fund AI expansion

ByteDance has attracted over $30 billion in orders for a $20 billion offshore syndicated loan, representing 1.5 times oversubscription. The three-year facility, extendable to five years, marks the TikTok parent company's largest syndicated loan to date. This continues ByteDance's pattern of scaling up its borrowing. The company debuted in the syndicated loan market in 2019 with $1.335 billion and closed a $10.8 billion facility in 2024. Major international banks, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan, have participated in previous rounds. ByteDance has raised its 2026 AI capital expenditure budget to over CNY 200 billion (approximately $30 billion), a 25% increase. Flexential secures $800M to develop 130+ MW of data centre capacity across four US markets

Flexential has secured an $800 million credit facility to fund data centre development across four US markets. The financing will support more than 130 MW of new capacity, including facilities under construction in Atlanta-Douglasville (36 MW), Portland-Hillsboro (36 MW), and Denver-Parker (22.5 MW). The facility was oversubscribed and increased 60% from an initial $500 million target. It is backed by an 11-bank syndicate, with TD Securities as administrative agent. The funding complements equity investment from Flexential's sponsors, GI Partners and MSIP. CEO Ryan Mallory said the financing enables the company to invest ahead of enterprise and AI-driven infrastructure demand. Flexential operates 40 data centres across 18 markets in the US.
