About the job
- A minimum Bac+3 degree in a commercial field or in the sale of insurance products.
- Knowledge of commercial techniques and IARD insurance products.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- The candidate must be willing to make very frequent field trips.
- An appetite for the construction and building and public works sector is desirable for the role.
- Proficiency with office tools and ability to relay communications on social media are expected.
- Identify target member-clients and prospects and define action plans for prospecting through professional trade shows, referrals, and social media.
- Plan and prepare commercial appointments and sales activities, including needs identification, consulting, and argumentation.
- Propose construction insurance and IARD solutions to clients and prospects in the construction and building and public works sector and drive the sales process.
- Participate in local activities and build close relationships with clients.
- Represent SMABTP at professional organizations on an occasional basis.
- A successful initial experience, including work-study placement or internship, selling insurance products.
