Requirements

A Commercial Drivers License is required upon hire.
An AED certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute is required upon hire.
First Aid certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute is required upon hire.
A valid driver's license is required.
The employee must drive a personal vehicle for RHS business at least 25% of the time to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute residents' transportation needs, including medical appointments and facility outings.
Assist departments with transportation needs for residents and potential prospects.
Maintain vehicles and keep them in good condition; help the Transportation Coordinator arrange maintenance and service calls.
Follow safe practices in accordance with Riverside Health System policies and procedures.
Notify the Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when vehicle maintenance is needed.
Plan transportation routes to reduce vehicle mileage and fuel consumption.
Complete paperwork accurately and promptly; maintain facility-vehicle transportation and maintenance logs and record residents' participation in facility outings.
Prioritize and complete assignments accurately and on time, meeting work schedules and assignment deadlines while minimizing customer complaints.
Maintain positive interactions with team members, residents, and visitors; assist customers with billing inquiries, questions, or concerns and follow up promptly.

Desired Qualifications

Two years of experience driving commercial vehicles is preferred.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Hiring Range

$15.60 - $20.25/Hourly
Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Overview
Coordinates and executes all transportation needs for residents to include medical appointments, facility outings etc. Assists all departments with transportation needs of residents and/or potential prospects. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and general up keep. Responsible for helping transportation coordinator get vehicles in for maintenance and service calls.

What you will do

Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently. Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience.
Responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures.
Responsible for notifying Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed.
Demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption.
Completes paper work to ensure that all records are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles as well as logging residents participation on facility outings.
Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness (meeting work schedules, work assignments and completed by deadlines, received minimal customer complaints).
Maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors. Assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns. Provides follow up in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)

Experience

2 years Experience driving commercial vehicles (Preferred)

Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - DMV Upon Hire(Required)
