Requirements
  • You are a trained physician with completed medical studies and a German medical license (Approbation).
  • You can demonstrate 12 months of experience in direct patient care in accordance with the training regulations.
  • You have very good German language skills and good English language skills.
Responsibilities
  • Care for and advise patients across the full spectrum of outpatient gynecology.
  • Perform and learn gynecological examinations, pregnancy checkups, and care for pregnant patients.
  • Perform ultrasound examinations, cancer screening, and follow-up care.
  • Diagnose and treat gynecological diseases and participate in the daily consultation service.
  • Contribute to a smooth, patient-oriented practice workflow.

Region Stockholm engages SYNLAB to expand its medical diagnostic services in Sweden. * The Health and Medical Care Committee awarded SYNLAB Sverige AB the contract for the provision of services within clinical laboratory medicine in the Stockholm region. * This agreement enables SYNLAB to strengthen the region's diagnostic infrastructure and significantly expand its role and presence within the healthcare landscape in Sweden. * SYNLAB will work closely with the regional authority to expand its network while continuing to provide reliable, accessible and high-quality service that benefits patients and professionals. SYNLAB, a leader in medical diagnostic services and specialty testing in Europe, announced today that SYNLAB Sverige AB has been selected by Region Stockholm to provide medical diagnostic services throughout the county. The decision reflects the region's confidence in SYNLAB as a capable and trusted partner for the future of healthcare. The new agreement brings a modern and high-quality medical diagnostic solution to Region Stockholm. It allows SYNLAB to expand its presence in the region and strengthen an essential part of the healthcare system's diagnostic infrastructure. The assignment covers clinical chemistry including pharmacology, clinical microbiology, clinical immunology, and clinical pathology and cytology, as well as the processes needed to ensure safe and efficient sample handling. Within the framework of the agreement, SYNLAB will also operate a network of blood collection points (BCPs) in the western parts of the Stockholm County, the inner city and the southwestern areas. The agreement spans a period of five years, with the option to extend, and operations are planned to begin in April 2027. Under this agreement, Cinven will acquire Elliott’s current direct minority stake of approximately 10% in SYNLAB. Elliott will become an indirect minority shareholder in SYNLAB, alongside existing shareholders Cinven, Labcorp (subject to regulatory approval), and Qatar Holding LLC. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in early 2025.
