Titan partners with Squarespace to offer custom-domain email to users.

Titan partners with Squarespace to offer custom-domain email to users. Bhavin Turakhia-founded Titan will offer its Essential Email service to Squarespace customers at $3 per user per month, initially across the US, UK, Australia and Canada. The company said its service is available on more than 40 per cent of new domain names registered worldwide. It did not disclose user numbers, revenue or the commercial terms of the Squarespace deal. Titan, the email company founded by Bhavin Turakhia, will sell its email service to customers of US website-building firm Squarespace, the companies said on Tuesday. The product, Essential Email by Titan, gives Squarespace users an email address on their own domain, along with an inbox, calendar and contacts on desktop and mobile. It costs $3 per user per month and is available to customers who have bought a domain through Squarespace or have connected one to it. Squarespace customers can now buy a domain, set up email and build a website in one place. Earlier, they had to buy email from a separate provider. The service is live in the US, the UK, Australia and Canada. The companies did not give a date for other markets, saying only that more countries would be added in the coming months. Turakhia, Titan's founder and chief executive, said most email products were designed for large companies, while Titan was aimed at founders and small teams. Titan was set up in 2018. It does not sell directly to users. Instead, it is bundled by domain registrars, web hosts and website builders, which offer it to their customers. The company said its service is available on more than 40 per cent of new domain names registered worldwide. It did not disclose user numbers, revenue or the commercial terms of the Squarespace deal. Squarespace sells websites, domains, online-store and payment tools, and appointment-booking services to small businesses.

Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1: use the update tool or rebuild?

Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1: use the update tool or rebuild? For a long time, moving a Squarespace 7.0 site to 7.1 meant rebuilding it page by page. That's no longer the only way. Squarespace now has a version update tool that converts a 7.0 site in place, and for plenty of sites it's the sensible choice. For others it's a trap. The update is permanent, and some features don't come out the other side. It's a conversation Made by Dave has with past clients whose sites are still on 7.0. The site works, so it's easy to leave alone. But newer Squarespace features only run on 7.1, including the Fluid Engine editor and the AI Visibility tool, so a 7.0 site is already missing out. Made by Dave haven't seen Squarespace announce an end date for 7.0, which makes this a question of opportunity rather than panic. The decision comes down to what your 7.0 site relies on. The update tool converts a site in place, keeps your content and lets you preview the result before anything goes live, so for a simple brochure site the work is mostly checking rather than rebuilding. It refuses to run if the site uses a discontinued template, has Developer Mode switched on, runs to more than 150 pages, or has a store page holding more than 200 products. It removes album pages, audio cover pages and custom Adobe Fonts outright. It converts index pages into layout or portfolio pages and drops their sub-page SEO settings, turns gallery pages into layout pages without their videos, and leaves behind several header features including fixed headers, header search and secondary navigation. If the parts it breaks are parts you depend on, a rebuild is the cheaper route, even though it sounds like the bigger job. The process itself is short:

Building a stunning website just got 50% cheaper.

Building a stunning website just got 50% cheaper. Right now, you can save an impressive 50% off your Squarespace subscription with code SQSP50. Squarespace is ranked as one of its best website builders, thanks largely to its excellent design features, business tools, and ease of use. I've spent a lot of time using and researching Squarespace over the past 3 years, and this is one of the biggest discounts I have ever seen the platform offer. Is Squarespace right for you? Due to a heavy emphasis on website aesthetics, Squarespace is a natural choice for creative types such as photographers, musicians, and artists. However, it is also a favorite among businesses that want a website that really wows visitors. In recent years, the platform has expanded beyond a simple drag-and-drop website creator, rolling out a full AI website builder along with helpful business tools such as appointment scheduling, memberships, and extensive ecommerce features. Although Squarespace isn't the cheapest option on the market, for those who will use at least one or two of its built-in business tools, it offers fantastic value for money along with a name you can trust. Picking a plan and getting 50% off. Squarespace offers a range of plans spanning from its entry-level 'Basic' plan to its premium 'Advanced' plan, with the 50% discount only being available on the 'Core' plan and above. Although you can sell on all plans, dedicated online stores are better off considering the 'Core', 'Plus', or 'Advanced' plans, all of which offer advanced ecommerce features. To access the discount, simply select an annual plan and then enter the code SQSP50 when you check out. Although this is a good deal, it won't carry over into your second billing cycle. So, it is important to take some time to assess whether the renewal rate will still work for you once the initial period is over.
