Role Summary

The Customer Relationship Management(CRM) Engineering and Transformation office is looking for an enthusiastic and self starter to join the team as an intern serving the Go-To-Market roles across the company. As a member of the team, you will work on real projects across the enterprise to define end-to-end value streams, develop differentiating capabilities and process improvements. The person will be able to hone the skills of a Transformation lead while working with support, sales, partner and customer success teams. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, receive mentorship, and gain insight into our values-driven process. Our goal is both to support your growth and development while empowering you for a successful start to your career. You will be interacting with business operation teams and product managers to understand detailed requirements, as well as, other engineering teams across Cisco.

What you'll get to do

Understand the company’s operating model and commercial objectives and how they translate into the need for efficient business processes.
Analyze existing processes, applying different techniques and methods.
Work with the technical delivery teams to define and implement system solutions using agile delivery model by developing epics, user stories, test scripts, acceptance criteria
Produce and present executive presentations.

Must-have Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
At least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internship.
Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks

Knowledge of agile, program or product management

Our Splunktern Program allows incoming interns the flexibility to choose from three start dates, currently anticipated to be:

Monday, May 19, 2025 - Friday, August 8, 2025
Monday, June 2, 2025 - Friday, August 22, 2025
Monday, June 16, 2025 - Friday, September 5, 2025

Note:

Base Pay is based on a candidate completing 3 years of university or the academic equivalent

Base Pay

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay: $36 per hour

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay: $32 per hour

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay: $30 per hour

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills, year in school and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for benefits.
