Laboratory Technician 2

Job Description

The Lab Technician II handles samples, performs analyses and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.

• Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
• Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
• Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
• Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.
• Maintains and verifies equipment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Minimum of 2 years of lab experience Required
• Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience Required
