About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required; four years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Five years of experience with IT infrastructure projects and IT operations are required.
- Knowledge of infrastructure standards such as NIST and CMMC is required.
- A proven track record in infrastructure design and delivery is required.
- Strong Windows system administration skills, including Active Directory and local/group policy, are required.
- An active or current TS/SCI polygraph clearance is required.
- Manage and support all aspects of technology infrastructure systems, including Microsoft Domain administration, Group Policy management, VMware/ESXi, Cisco routing and switching, firewall management, and SaltStack.
- Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems.
- Manage IT systems operations using standard processes and resolve problems across connected client, server, storage, and network systems.
- Monitor and communicate IT systems' operational status to customer management.
- Optimize system performance, operation, and resource utilization.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to internal customers.
- Configure and manage operating systems.
- Conduct or facilitate operating system software installs and loads.
- Maintain patch sets across distributed nodes, accounting for rolling updates to avoid impacting mission load.
- Maintain the integrity of network components.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Experience in a Linux environment is desirable.
