Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate Assurant’s internal teams (technology, operations, finance, legal, and marketing) to ensure timely execution of all product development activities aligned with Telstra’s goals
  • Product Development Execution: Oversee the entire product development process from concept to launch, ensuring milestones are met and that internal teams are executing against clearly defined deliverables
  • Operational Readiness: Ensure operational teams are prepared for product roll-out, including customer service, fulfillment, and post-launch support, in coordination with Telstra’s internal teams
  • Quality Control and Testing: Collaborate with Telstra and Assurant teams to facilitate product testing and validation processes, ensuring product quality standards and compliance requirements are met
  • Account Strategy Execution: Work closely with the Propositions Director to ensure all product initiatives are aligned with Assurant and Telstra’s overarching strategic objectives. Translate these objectives into actionable product plans and timelines for the internal Assurant team
  • Prioritization of Initiatives: Collaborate with Telstra’s Product Managers and Product Owners to prioritize key product developments and drive initiatives that will have the highest impact across Consumer, Business and Enterprise segments

Assurant reports 9th consecutive year of profitable growth with $1.74B adjusted EBITDA

Assurant reported strong fourth quarter and full year 2025 results, marking its ninth consecutive year of profitable growth. The global protection company posted Q4 net income of $225.2 million, up 12% year-over-year, with earnings per share rising 14% to $4.41. For full year 2025, net income increased 15% to $872.7 million, whilst earnings per share climbed 17% to $16.93. Adjusted EBITDA, excluding reportable catastrophes, grew 11% to $1.73 billion, driven by growth across Global Housing and Global Lifestyle segments. The company's Global Housing segment benefited from lower catastrophe losses and expanded lender-placed policies, whilst Global Lifestyle saw growth in mobile protection and automotive services. Net earned premiums and fees totalled $12.35 billion, up 8% from 2024. For 2026, Assurant expects adjusted EBITDA and earnings per share consistent with 2025 levels.

Assurant has launched F&I On Demand, a virtual staffing solution for auto dealerships facing personnel shortages in finance and insurance departments.
