About the job
- Must be 21 years or older.
- At least one year of job-related supervisory experience.
- General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors.
- Previous experience caring for residents with Alzheimer's disease and memory impairments.
- Ability to work in a resident-care environment without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Ability to train and motivate volunteers and team members to deliver quality activity programming.
- Maintain all appropriate state-level certifications or licenses.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to resident care and services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and ability to learn new applications.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet resident and team needs.
- Lead the Daily Life Enrichment program for Memory Care residents.
- Ensure residents are engaged each day.
- Enhance residents' lives through life-enrichment programming.
- Experience in a senior living environment.
- College degree.
