Finance Assistant
About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
- Math aptitude is required.
- Interest in finance is required.
- Ability to work past the regular shift, as needed, to complete customer transactions, is required.
- Accurately receipt cash deposits and ensure all monies are received on transactions.
- Submit credit applications.
- Package, scan, and fund contracts.
- Monitor and update the Contract In Transit (CIT) account, and update notes in the software application for all unfunded deals.
- Send and scan all Finance and Insurance contracts for remittance daily, and log all contracts sent.
- Prioritize car deals to ensure the One Hour promise time to customers is met.
- Work directly with sales staff; this position does not interact directly with customers.
- Loan processing or credit report experience is a plus.
