About the job
- Be a third- or final-year student majoring in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- No work experience is required; logistics-related student activities are a plus.
- Vietnamese and English are mandatory.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Time management and task management skills are preferred.
- Be highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate discipline and confidentiality.
- Be able to work full-time from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Commit to an internship of at least six months.
- Input non-bonded permit data and import/export shipping data for the CDC Singapore warehouse operation and freight report.
- Update the Material Master for the logistics service provider monthly.
- Check HS code discrepancies and alert the foreign trade team.
- Receive new logistics cost billing reports from the logistics service provider, place them in the shared folder, and format files according to the required template.
- Check data between shipping documents and the logistics service provider's logistics Excel template and identify discrepancies.
- Split costs by business unit and complete the forwarder report after logistics costs with the logistics service provider have been verified.
- Pull reports from SAP to complete the freight cost clearance report and link the data to the forwarder report.
- Enter all confirmation data in the Billing Confirmed file in SharePoint to support payment processing.
- Confirm the workflow in the finance system to proceed with logistics cost payment to the logistics service provider.
- Manage freight cost clearance for DHL Express, FedEx, and local value-added service charges in India.
- Support the preparation of documents related to import/export operations.
- Enter outbound and inbound deliveries in the import/export report for daily booking.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
- Students with logistics-related activities are a plus.
- Time management and task management skills are preferred.
