Requirements
  • Experience creating consumer journeys to communicate experience intent, design intent, and desired outcome.
  • Exceptional design skills, including concepting, ideation, sketching, spatial design, and space planning layouts.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential or brand design and a demonstrated ability to apply these skills in ways that elevate brand excellence.
  • Bachelors/master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, industrial, or environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated design-thinking and human-centered design approach applied to projects/work.
  • Confidence in operating in a design studio that delivers progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size.
  • Expert oral and written communication and presentations skills, including meeting facilitation, brainstorms, and presentations to senior management.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across streams and territories to share ideas and develop effective responses and feedback.
  • Proven ability to work on your own in a constantly evolving, high-growth environment.
  • Positivity and eagerness to do great work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes.
  • Demonstrated expertise using computer design applications including SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, V-Ray, Figma, Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite.
Responsibilities
  • Support and partner with Global Brand Retail Design Sr Creative Director and Design Director to develop and drive innovative solutions for consumer experiences at Retail.
  • Define consumer journeys for discrete services, foundational experiences, and/or overall store concepts.
  • Leverage consumer insights and design research to fuel ideation for meaningful, tangible retail experiences.
  • Ensures project goals and priorities align with Nike retail brand and business strategies.
  • Design with the versatility to bring innovative seasonal experiences to life, combining spatial design, storytelling, and digital and tech-enabled mediums.
  • Develops presentation materials that effectively communicate strategy, concepts, and design to all levels of management and partners.
  • Create playbooks and guidelines for Geo teams.
  • Collaborate with peers, design counterparts, internal partners (Brand, Retail Brand, Brand Creative, Digital, Brand Comms etc.) and external partners to ensure feasibility of designs and functional needs are met.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of future trends, technologies, and consumer habits and how.
  • Understand design processes to ensure results, timelines and budgets are met.
  • You may travel 10-20% of the time.
