Lendistry Home Loans launches Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot for homeowners displaced by 2025 LA wildfires.

Lendistry Home Loans launches Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot for homeowners displaced by 2025 LA wildfires. * 1 hr ago This program offers sustainable, accessible financing to homeowners who remain unable to rebuild in historic LA communities LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / August 11, 2026 / Today, Lendistry Home Loans announced the launch of its Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot. This community-led solution has been crafted specifically to support homeowners displaced by the 2025 Pacific Palisades and Eaton fires and overcome challenges that have stagnated the rebuilding process for many. This pilot will allow more homeowners to rebuild sooner because of its lower liquidity requirements and greater flexibility in cashflow underwriting standards. The Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot is supported with a seed capital commitment of $15 million from Bank of America and $5 million from the California Community Foundation. Lendistry Home Loans is announcing this program in advance of applications opening to allow equitable opportunity for homeowners to prepare to apply. Homeowners should visit www.disasterrecoverymortgage.com to learn more about the Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot, sign up to receive updates about the application window, and find out what they will need. Homeowners not yet ready to take on financing are encouraged to visit The Center by Lendistry's LA Rebuild Hub (www.larebuildhub.org). The Hub provides step-by-step guidance and resources to help homeowners navigate insurance, permitting, and rebuilding decisions so they can move forward with confidence when they are ready. "Large-scale disasters demand large-scale collaboration and innovative thinking from institutions with the means to step up," says Everett K. Sands, CEO of Lendistry Home Loans. "There will always be opportunities and setbacks that we can't see coming, but together we are better equipped to support our communities in good times and bad times. Lendistry Home Loans is proud to offer the Disaster Recovery Mortgage and work with organizations that share our vision of a more abundant, resilient future." The program launch follows California Governor Gavin Newsom's signing of the 2026-27 state budget, which established the $100-million Disaster Rebuilding Assistance Program for loan-loss guarantees and reduced interest rates for impacted homeowners. This innovative solution helps lenders mitigate risk while providing responsible financing to affected communities. "Through California's upcoming Disaster Rebuilding Assistance Program, the state is making a significant investment to ensure the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires have the resources they need to rebuild their homes and their lives in a way they can afford," said Tomiquia Moss, Secretary of the California Housing and Homelessness Agency. "The Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot offers a key opportunity for both financial relief and wildfire resiliency for impacted homeowners, one that builds on California's efforts and showcases the power of public-private partnerships." The Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot includes a construction lending product designed to fill financing gaps, kickstart rebuilding ahead of potential insurance or settlement payouts, and support revenue-generating duplex, triplex and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) properties alongside the primary residence. Qualified homes will need to be built to the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) Wildfire Prepared HomePlus standards to increase future resiliency. "Wildfire resilience shouldn't be a luxury-it should be within reach for every family," says Michael Newman, managing director, partnerships & general counsel, IBHS. "The Wildfire Prepared Home standard gives homeowners a clear, science-based path to reduce risk through smarter design and construction. The Disaster Recovery Mortgage shows what's possible when lenders and resilience leaders work together, helping families rebuild stronger, reduce future losses, and protect the homes and lives they've worked so hard to build." "Last year's wildfires displaced thousands of Angelenos and impacted countless lives," says Raul Anaya, president, Bank of America Los Angeles. "While Bank of America developed a Rebuild Solution to help our existing mortgage clients rebuild their homes after the L.A. fires with extended forbearance, a line of credit and preserving their original lower interest rate, we knew more needed to be done for other homeowners. That's why we're working with CDFIs like Lendistry to structure and disperse additional capital to help more Angelenos rebuild their homes." "Recovery means ensuring families have a pathway to return home and rebuild their future," said Miguel Santana, President & CEO of CCF. "Through the Los Angeles Wildfire Rebuilding and Renewal Fund, CCF is investing in solutions that address the real barriers communities face after a disaster. This partnership with Lendistry Home Loans and Bank of America demonstrates how philanthropy, lenders, and nonprofit institutions can work together to help families access the capital they need to rebuild and remain rooted in the communities they call home." According to a survey of more than 2,300 fire-impacted residents, most families remain displaced as the costs of temporary housing and rebuilding continue to rise. The Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot was developed alongside FORGE LA, a collaborative initiative to identify financial gaps in disaster recovery led by Lendistry's strategic nonprofit partner, The Center by Lendistry. The pilot powered by an innovative financial structure tailored to community members who risk loss of homeownership and may not be able to access construction loan products. Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot participants must meet ability-to-repay requirements set in law. Loan applications for the Disaster Recovery Mortgage Pilot will be available in early fall of 2026, as Lendistry Home Loans continues to raise capital from private, philanthropic, and public sources to expand the program beyond its limited initial pilot phase. Lendistry lands $100m East West Bank credit facility.

Lendistry lands $100m East West Bank credit facility. July 13, 2026 Lendistry, a small business lender and grant administrator focused on undercapitalised entrepreneurs, has secured a $100m credit facility from East West Bank to expand its lending to small firms operating in airports. The facility comes with a $100m accordion feature, giving Lendistry room to increase its borrowing capacity as demand rises. The funding will underpin the firm's Airport Concessions Program (ACP), an initiative designed to finance small enterprises trading in terminals across the US. Although travellers may assume that household names found in airports are corporate outlets, many of these units, alongside independent eateries and convenience stores, are in fact run by local licensees whose economic footprint mirrors that of a neighbourhood business. Despite this, such operators typically encounter extra obstacles when seeking growth capital. The deal extends a partnership that began in 2025, when East West Bank supplied Lendistry with a $75m credit facility to bolster its SBA 7(a) lending operations. Since the ACP's launch in 2019, the programme has channelled $98m to airport-based firms across 16 states, and the new capital is intended to help scale the initiative further within a rapidly expanding industry. Founded in 2015, Lendistry uses proprietary technology and has distributed more than $10.5bn to small businesses, working alongside state and federal authorities as well as major American brands. Lendistry CEO Everett K. Sands said, "Airport concession businesses are historically undercapitalized due to their unique business structures and complex financing needs. We took the time to learn, then built ACP with the right team and technology to provide the capital they need. We're grateful to East West Bank for their support and excited to keep working with them to change the game for small business owners and their communities." East West Bank executive vice president, head of Commercial Banking & Specialty Finance Eastern Region Andrew Stein said, "East West Bank and Lendistry share a commitment to expanding economic opportunity for small businesses. We're pleased to support Lendistry's Airport Concessions Program following the success of our SBA 7(a) financing relationship. As Lendistry continues to grow, East West Bank is proud to serve as its financial bridge, providing comprehensive banking solutions to support its long-term growth and the entrepreneurs it serves." The ACP serves airport concession businesses, including locally-owned licensees of national chains like Starbucks, which face unique financing challenges. Since launching the programme in 2019, Lendistry has deployed $98 million to airport businesses across 16 states. This arrangement builds on a previous relationship established in 2025, when East West Bank provided Lendistry with a $75 million credit facility for its SBA 7(a) lending platform. Lendistry, founded in 2015, has deployed over $10.5 billion to small businesses and is the second-largest non-bank SBA 7(a) lender in the country.

These funds will support catalytic capital for small business owners as they enter their busiest time of year and prepare for international sporting events coming to the U.S. LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / December 11, 2025 / Lendistry announces today that it has received a $100MM debt facility with $400MM accordion from KeyBank Specialty Finance Lending. This capital supports Lendistry's conventional, non-SBA 7(a) lending product for small businesses nationwide. "Small businesses have a lot to suit up for with the World Cup, the Olympics and more coming to the U.S. in the near future," says Everett K. Sands, CEO of Lendistry. "This capital from KeyBank will help us provide those businesses and entrepreneurs across the country with the support they need to grow, meet opportunities and serve their communities." "KeyBank is committed to fueling growth for small businesses which are the backbone of our economy. This $100 million facility with Lendistry reflects our shared mission to provide entrepreneurs with the resources they need to seize opportunities tied to major global events. Together, we're helping businesses succeed," said Chris Tucker, Managing Director KeyBank Specialty Finance Lending. KeyBank and Lendistry have a relationship that began in 2023 when Lendistry obtained a $20 million line of credit (LOC) from KeyBank Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Group. This new infusion of capital follows a trend of support this year from banks and private corporations for Lendistry's tech-forward, mission-driven lending model. About Lendistry Lendistry is a tech-enabled small business lender, grant administrator for private and public agencies, and a trusted resource for undercapitalized entrepreneurs including people of color, veterans, and those in rural communities. Founded in 2015, Lendistry has used technology and community partnerships to deploy over $10 billion in its first ten years. Lendistry was recently named the winner of the LA Area Chamber of Commerce Corporate Leadership Award, BankRate's Best Minority-Led Business Lender, and one of American Banker's Best Places to Work in Fintech. Lendistry has both Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity (CDE) certifications, is an SBA Preferred Lender and is now the #2 non-bank SBA 7(a) lender in the country.
