Requirements
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential and/or vocational secretarial training or trade school training is required.
- Proficiency in word processing is required.
- Demonstrated language and spelling skills are required.
- Knowledge of efficient office procedures is required.
- Experience may substitute for the educational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
- Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary.
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail, including mail records.
- Issue Tribal vehicle keys to employees and maintain the mileage log.
- Record maintenance requests in the maintenance request log.
- Provide customer service.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the immediate or controlling supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a multi-phone-line system.
- Experience with postage machines.
