Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Customer Success, Partner Success, Account Management, or B2B Client Engagement within B2B SaaS, FinTech, or cloud software; candidates with at least 1 year in a high-volume, scaled customer success motion and exceptional commercial results are also considered.
  • Working understanding of accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals, compliance workflows, and practice management operations.
  • A proven record of managing a book of at least 150 accounts using prioritization, automated triggers, and digital leverage.
  • Demonstrated success driving product adoption, expanding recurring revenue (ARR/NRR), and safeguarding retention in a matrixed enterprise organization.
  • Proficiency with enterprise customer relationship management and customer success tooling, including Salesforce, ChurnZero, or Gainsight, and analytics platforms; ability to interpret health scores, telemetry data, and task queues to guide outreach.
  • Professional verbal and written communication in English and French at minimum CEFR C1 proficiency is preferred for Canada hires.
  • A foundational accounting or bookkeeping qualification (for example, CPA, CA, CFA, ACCA, ICB, or CIPP) or official ProAdvisor certification.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Float, Xero, or comparable financial management, spend management, and enterprise resource planning software ecosystems.
  • Direct experience in pooled, digital-first, or automated customer success delivery models within global business process outsourcing or high-growth technology environments.
  • Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities, conduct business reviews, and articulate return on investment to firm owners.
  • Ability to prioritize large datasets and direct high-touch effort toward retention and growth impact.
  • Ability to motivate external partner principals to adopt new workflows and coordinate with internal Sales, Product, Support, and Approvals teams to resolve blockers.
  • Ability to transition between strategic advisory conversations with firm leaders and practical technical workflow troubleshooting with operational staff.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a designated portfolio of 150–250 accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory firms as their primary post-sales point of contact; execute structured annual value reviews supported by automated mid-year health check-ins.
  • Monitor customer relationship management health metrics, engagement indicators, and platform telemetry in real time; intervene one-to-one when risk triggers occur, such as stalled client onboarding, drops in platform usage, or competitor migration signals.
  • Protect partner relationships across the portfolio to prevent attrition of underlying client subscriptions, and develop recovery playbooks for accounts showing disengagement or decline.
  • Partner with firm principals to migrate additional client books onto the cloud platform and drive organic expansion and cross-selling across Payroll, Payments, Corporate Cards/Expense Management, Bill Pay, and Accountant Suites.
  • Lead structured onboarding from initial introduction to accelerate time-to-first-value; coach accounting professionals through certification programs such as ProAdvisor and tier progression milestones.
  • Deploy pre-built expansion toolkits, educational webinars, and digital one-to-many campaigns for qualifying portfolio segments to drive self-serve adoption.
  • Serve as the trusted single point of contact for complex partner operational inquiries; coordinate with Technical Support, Approvals/KYB, and Risk teams to resolve issues.
  • Represent partner feedback internally by surfacing workflow bottlenecks, data-mapping gaps, and product enhancement requests to Product, Engineering, and Revenue Operations leadership.

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidates with at least 1 year in a high-volume, scaled customer success motion and exceptional commercial results are strongly considered.
  • Professional verbal and written communication in both English and French at minimum CEFR C1 proficiency is preferred for Canada hires.
