- Conduct interviews with insureds, claimants, witnesses, contractors, and other involved parties.
- Inspect damaged property and evaluate repair, replacement, and remediation costs.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, attorneys, contractors, and other experts as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommendations, and claim resolutions.
- Negotiate settlements within established authority and recommend further action when necessary.
- Maintain accurate reserves and monitor claim financials throughout the life of the file.
- Participate in mediations, hearings, appraisals, and litigation support activities when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with client guidelines, carrier requirements, and industry regulations.
- Provide responsive communication and customer service to clients, insureds, and business partners.
- Travel as required to inspect losses and support catastrophe response efforts.
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, policy forms, and claims practices.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
