Requirements
  • Knowledge of social legislation.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • State Diploma of Doctor of Medicine.
  • Candidates who are nationals of a European Union member state must hold the diploma, certificate, or title required under Article L.4131-1 of the French Public Health Code.
  • Candidates who are nationals of a non-EU state must hold the individual authorization to practice provided for by Article L.4111-2 of the French Public Health Code.
  • Registration certificate with the Medical Council must be provided.
  • The medical diploma must be provided.
  • Proof of passing the doctoral thesis must be provided.
  • An original criminal-record extract issued within the previous three months must be provided.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and conduct medical reviews of insured persons in accordance with the special staff regulations, the CCAS internal regulations, and the Social Security Code, including consultations, medical committees, and various benefits.
  • Monitor insured persons medically in connection with occupational accidents and diseases, including consultations and determination of the permanent partial incapacity rate.
  • Participate in the Medical Expert Committee.
  • Present cases to the Regional Committee for Recognition of Occupational Diseases.
  • Prepare expert-assessment files for appeals brought by insured persons and participate in those assessments when required.
  • Participate in assessments ordered by the court of first instance or the Court of Appeal, as well as judicial assessments arising from third-party claims.
  • Calculate files concerning off-duty injuries in third-party claims.
  • Provide medical opinions on requests for benefits outside the statutory scheme.
  • Participate in various committees, including the relief committee, medical guidance committee, prevention council, and Medical Committee for Amicable Appeals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Holding a diploma in Legal Compensation for Bodily Injury and/or a University Certificate in Social Security will be considered an additional advantage.
  • The CCAS may cover training courses.
