Responsibilities
Install commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, exhaust and ventilation systems, make-up air systems, package units, and mini-split systems.
Install and assemble ductwork, diffusers and grilles, refrigerant piping, condensate drains, and equipment supports and hangers.
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
Ensure all installations meet local, state, and national mechanical codes.
Perform start-up assistance and system verification as required.
Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate installation progress.
Follow company safety policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
Operate company vehicles, lifts, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Position Summary
Shoals MPE Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing construction team. This position is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems and associated components on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, installing ductwork and equipment, and working alongside project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
This role is best suited for a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains a strong safety mindset, and is committed to delivering exceptional results on every project.
Key Responsibilities
