Commonwealth Medical Services coordinates medical staffing and independent exams for organizations needing clinical capacity or workplace programs. It recruits clinicians for examinations and health services, and advises organizations changing or expanding their operations. Other services include workplace screenings, health fairs, provider visits, urgent and primary care, and weight-management coaching. The company says its model was created to meet the needs of consumers and providers, then grew from an opportunity to expand Veterans' access to services in Central Kentucky before reaching multiple states. Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • CMS says its Nurse Practitioner placements balance earnings and personal goals; KPG offers locum, per diem and permanent paths.
  • As of October 2026, CMS lists full-time on-site clinician jobs in Littleton and Woodsville; Concentra has a national center network.
  • As of October 2026, CMS's board spans NP, physician, pharmacist, chiropractor and podiatrist roles; ExamWorks' IME services center on physicians.

What critics are saying

  • The Littleton listing leaves its 'community health organization' unnamed, unlike Concentra's branded onsite clinics; confirm the hiring employer.
  • The Littleton role leaves hours and site assignments open; unlike Concentra's center network, candidates should verify location and schedule.
  • CMS's 'higher than average' pay claim has no benchmark, unlike KPG's detailed page on travel, housing and malpractice benefits.

What makes Commonwealth Medical Services unique

  • CMS secures short-term furnished exam locations for remote markets; Concentra operates a network of occupational-health centers and employer clinics.
  • CMS says client partnerships adjust operations to client needs; ExamWorks details record collection, examiner questions and report quality checks.
  • Nurse Practitioners own CMS, while Concentra's investor page identifies stock ticker CON; the employers differ in ownership structure.
