Strong knowledge of networking, switches, routers, hubs, load balancers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, ATM, PPP, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.

Responsibilities
Provide Tier 3 support for network issues escalated from the CSC organization and Corporate Network Engineer organization.
Design, test, document, and maintain the corporate data network.
Plan and design the future corporate network, lab-test new equipment and processes, and create support documentation and procedures.
Install, configure, and maintain new network equipment and software.
Use monitoring tools to evaluate network performance and identify areas where changes are needed as the network grows.
Maintain network drawings and documents with current configurations and supporting data, including circuit IDs.
Document network problems and their resolutions for future reference.
Desired Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus, but are not required.

The individual in this position will be responsible for the design, testing, documentation and upkeep of the Corporate data Network.
