About the job
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance.
- The candidate must have advanced proficiency in videoconferencing technologies and at least 3 years of experience solving problems with HP/Poly and PEXIP technologies, including Poly Clariti Core/Edge, Poly Clariti Manager, and PEXIP back-end infrastructure; diagnosing and resolving technical issues; and supporting software and basic associated network problems.
- The candidate must have advanced proficiency in audio-video-visual room systems and at least 3 years of experience managing AV/V room systems, including VTC codecs from HP/Poly and Cisco; cameras from HP/Poly and Panasonic; Epson projectors; NEC monitors; Crestron and Extron control processors; Televic microphone systems; Extron video matrixes; video wall TV systems; and other peripherals.
- The candidate must have intermediate proficiency in communication systems integration with PKI and Active Directory and at least 2 years of experience or good knowledge integrating AD and PKI with Cisco products.
- The candidate must have intermediate proficiency with monitoring platforms and protocols and at least 2 years of experience or good knowledge using platforms such as nGeniusOne, CA Performance Management, and CA Spectrum.
- The candidate must have intermediate network proficiency and at least 2 years of experience or knowledge troubleshooting basic network issues, including boundary protection devices, on servers and end users, and monitoring and analyzing Splunk logs and nGeniusOne.
- Participate in implementing AV/V service demands for customer-requested projects and R2Ps, ensuring delivery of AV/V services that meet customer requirements.
- Create designs, plans such as room layouts and implementation plans, and required documents to accredit implemented or planned projects.
- Implement security measures, including patches and updates, on systems manually or supervise automatic deployment with minimal or no downtime.
- Perform required backend and frontend administration and maintenance tasks as a subject matter expert to ensure availability, continuity, and optimum performance.
- Update backend systems and, where software exists, frontend devices to the latest vendor-released software versions approved by NATO authorities.
- Improve backend and frontend maintenance activities, monitoring tools, and implementation of security measures to minimize or eliminate service interruption.
- Continuously improve AV service quality and efficiency by monitoring and maintaining healthy backend and frontend environments to reduce the need for support.
- Identify and provide opportunities for continuous service improvement.
