Help Scout is a customer service platform that helps businesses manage conversations with customers and improve long-term relationships. It operates on a subscription model with tiered pricing, targeting small businesses to high-growth startups. The product centers on conversation management, user permissions, spam and SMTP settings, and proactive in-app notifications, enabling teams to respond quickly, stay organized, and monitor performance through detailed reporting. Unlike competitors that chase feature parity, Help Scout focuses on the details that matter most to support teams, aiming to deliver reliable, value-driven customer experiences.
