Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or above.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related information technology field.
- At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- High-level understanding of enterprise security tools, including firewalls, virtual private networks, endpoint detection and response, and security architectures.
Responsibilities
- Lead Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2 certification readiness and operational management in compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171, National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement requirements.
- Validate and enhance system architectures and technical security controls to ensure compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification standards for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information.
- Design and manage a supply chain cybersecurity risk assessment framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate third-party security risks.
- Deploy and operate enterprise security solutions, including firewalls, virtual private networks, and endpoint detection and response solutions.
- Establish and manage the lifecycle of security policies.
- Proactively manage vulnerabilities and conduct real-time log monitoring to detect and respond to security threats.
Desired Qualifications
- Cybersecurity certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification-related credentials such as Certified CMMC Assessor and Certified CMMC Professional.
- Prior work experience within the Defense Industrial Base or with major federal and defense contractors.
- Hands-on experience building and securing defense security architectures within cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud and Microsoft GCC High.
- Proven experience successfully undergoing and completing official Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization audits.
