Engineering Assistant - Test Production Support Engineering
About the job
- An engineering diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institution is required.
- A strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, or Visual Basic is required.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis to support production operations is required.
- Investigate failures related to test systems, test programs, fixtures, and printed circuit board assemblies.
- Provide technical analysis support, including test program debugging, printed circuit board assembly and fixture schematic analysis, test specification review, and test coverage analysis.
- Design, develop, and implement in-circuit test and functional test solutions for electronic assemblies.
- Develop customizable software solutions.
- Analyze test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously improve test processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
- Perform preventive maintenance on test fixtures and test systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in shift-based production support activities as required.
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair environments.
