About the job
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in a leadership role.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
- Extensive experience leading and managing month-end close procedures and process improvement.
- The ability to travel when needed.
- Oversee the month-end close process and provide accurate, responsive analysis and reporting of financial information.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiencies.
- Drive efficiency and process improvement for the organization's accounting functions.
- Lead and support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Develop and implement a strong internal control system and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the accounting team and functions across the region.
- Experience with a multi-entity or multi-location organization is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant certification is preferred but not required.
