Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • The candidate must have NCHM Certified Occupancy Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist certification, or an equivalent certification from a nationally recognized compliance training program and experience, or the ability and commitment to obtain the certifications at the next available course offering.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational and follow-up skills, and manage multiple priorities.
  • The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact in English with a diverse group of associates, residents, and external agencies.
  • The candidate must be able to read English at a level sufficient to understand policies and procedures, safety notices, general business correspondence, and documentation.
  • The candidate must have strong computer and keyboarding skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to quickly master new applications.
  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, enthusiasm, energy, and a strong customer service orientation toward older adults.
  • The candidate must have strong attention to detail.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a high volume of telephone calls.
  • The candidate must possess and maintain timely and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Market and lease the property while ensuring a safe and attractive living environment, exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and strong financial results.
  • Implement on-site and off-site sales and marketing activities to achieve occupancy goals, recommend adjustments based on market conditions and other occupancy factors, and maintain knowledge of competitive properties and market trends.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Housing Act, show and lease apartments, qualify prospective residents in compliance with program requirements, and manage the lease renewal process.
  • Interact routinely with residents and communicate effectively, appropriately, and courteously with residents, associates, management, and guests to address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Comply with Enterprise Residential policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements, and maintain a solid understanding of operational and human resources policies and procedures.
  • Collect rents, monitor and manage delinquencies and collections, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare, monitor, and distribute reports on operational and financial data.
  • Promote resident services initiatives with the Resident Services Department and engage residents in social, educational, planned activities, and events at the community level.
  • Participate in and attend all required training sessions.
  • Keep the Property Manager informed of information that could affect property operations.
  • Support other communities as assigned by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous sales and/or tax credit leasing experience is preferred.

Taking On Bilt, Stake Aims To Expand Its Cash-Back Rewards Program For Renters

Aiming to compete with Bilt in the nascent property renter rewards market, Stake, a startup that provides cash back and banking services to renters, today announced that it raised $12 million in a Series A round led by RET Ventures’ new RET Ventures ESG Fund. Enterprise Community Partners, Hometeam Ventures, Operator Stack, Shadow Ventures, Olive Tree Ventures and Second Century Ventures, the investment arm of the National Association of Realtors, also participated, bringing Stake’s total raised to $17.9 million. Co-founder and CEO Rowland Hobbs says the new capital will be put toward expanding the platform and increasing Stake’s workforce from 17 employees to 23 by the end of the year
