- Significant experience with enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing role, such as pre-sales or consulting
- Demonstrable interest and experience in computer security or cybersecurity, applied or theoretical
- Knowledge of open standards and protocols relating to identity and security would be beneficial. You may have encountered OAuth or OpenID Connect, for example, or had experience implementing social login or Single Sign-On
- Familiarity with using REST APIs and working with JSON data to integrate with web services is essential. Experience with modern programming/scripting languages is an advantage
- Knowledge of key foundational infrastructure and networking technologies such as virtual machines, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancers, proxies, etc.
- Experience with one or more typical cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and deployment technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform would be beneficial
- Engaging interpersonal and customer service skills: verbal, written, and listening/understanding, alongside good objection handling and solution discovery skills
- Ability to relate proposed solution technical capabilities back to customer needs in a narrative style
- Ability to work with a high level of self-direction and/or collaboratively with team and customers
- A passion for learning; the ability to learn in a self-directed way and to seek out help and guidance when it is required
- Fluent in Spanish and located in Spain, with ability to easily travel to Madrid or Barcelona. Portuguese knowledge would be a plus
- Deliver pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proofs of concept, and RFx responses
- Be the go-to technical expert on solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams
- Establish enduring relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue. Emphasis during key sales cycle phases of: Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof Phase
- Coordinate, throughout sales cycle, pre-sales efforts with a post-sales service delivery team
- Meeting, both virtually and in-person to deliver presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and demonstrations of Ping solutions and their value to customers, partners, and industry events
- Provide insightful feedback on product enhancements and customer needs to product owners.
- Develop subject matter expert level knowledge of at least one of Ping Identity's solutions
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time (typically less)

Ping Identity has launched Identity for AI, a platform designed to control autonomous AI agents operating across enterprises. The system comprises Agent IAM Core, Agent Gateway and Agent Detection, which establish agent identity, enforce delegated authority at runtime and detect agentic activity. The platform moves beyond traditional authentication by enforcing continuous, contextual authorisation at the moment of action. It treats AI agents as first-class identities with defined ownership and credentials, using delegated, scoped tokens rather than human impersonation. The system enforces least-privilege access and evaluates each agent request in real time. Identity for AI supports the Model Context Protocol for secure agent-to-system interactions. The platform will be globally available by 31 March 2026, extending Ping's enterprise trust architecture into the agentic era.
