Requirements
  • A high school diploma and three years of professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance, or commercial lending are required.
  • A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may substitute for two years of the required work experience.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • The role requires the ability to perform the stated physical functions, including frequent seated, standing, walking, hand and arm use, and fine motor activities; continuous indoor work, visual and auditory abilities, and related physical capabilities; and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 15 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Use the Our Day system to input and process expense reports, review submissions for completeness and accuracy, and monitor report status for timely and compliant reimbursement.
  • Prepare and create supplier invoices according to departmental and institutional guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing for revenue collection and financial reporting.
  • Maintain current costing allocations for staff and faculty in the Our Day system, reviewing and updating salary distributions to align with funding sources and support compliance and reporting.
  • Complete procurement purchases and order supplies through the Our Day punch-out process in compliance with institutional purchasing policies.
  • Enter and route event contracts for approval in Symplr, monitor contract status, and coordinate with stakeholders to support timely execution.
  • Use Epic and other financial reporting systems to retrieve, analyze, and distribute data to physicians and department leadership for financial oversight and operational planning.
