About the company

Nebius runs an AI cloud for developers, researchers, and enterprises that train models and put them into production. Its AI Cloud combines GPU computing, storage, networking, and managed services, while Token Factory runs models through an API so teams do not manage the underlying servers. Customers rent computing and storage at usage rates or reserve capacity, choosing resources that fit short experiments or sustained production workloads. Beyond the cloud, the group owns Avride, which develops autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, and TripleTen, which teaches technical skills for people changing careers. The publicly listed group is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Nebius activates first Bloom Energy fuel cell power block at 300MW New Jersey data center

Nebius Group (NasdaqGS: NBIS) has received its first activated fuel cell power block from Bloom Energy at its 300MW data center site in New Jersey. Both companies call it an operational and partnership milestone. The unit starts fuel cell electricity production for the facility. Reliable on-site power underpins how much computing capacity Nebius can offer customers, as the company builds infrastructure for AI workloads across the US, UK, and other markets. The fuel cell setup is multiyear, and Bloom will operate and maintain it. It adds another long-term commitment that needs high utilisation and a diverse customer base, given the leverage and execution concerns analysts already flag.

BlockchAIn Digital Infrastructure targets $1B+ Nebius lease for 50 MW data centre

BlockchAIn Digital Infrastructure (NYSEAMERICAN:AIB) is building smaller, power-secured data centres of 50MW to 75MW, chief financial officer Jolienne Halisky said in a presentation. The company has 120MW of contracted power and five more sites under evaluation. Its first project is anchored by Nebius, with 50MW of contracted IT load and a 12-year lease with two five-year renewal options. Total contract value is "well over" $1 billion. Customer prepayments of $100 million to $200 million are expected to help fund construction. The company raised $63 million in a June follow-on offering and does not expect another common equity raise for the project. It plans project-level debt and preferred equity instead. Next is DFW One in Texas, bought in September. Undeveloped opportunities total about 280MW.

Neoclouds explained: GPU providers behind the AI boom face a $3.5T impairment risk

Neoclouds, specialist providers that rent out GPU capacity for AI training and inference, have gone from unknown startups to listed companies with contracts worth billions of dollars. CoreWeave, Nebius and IREN lead the listed group; Lambda, Crusoe and Fluidstack remain private. Their shares fell hard in October 2026. CoreWeave dropped 29%, leaving it valued at about $34 billion against a 2025 peak of about $90 billion; Nebius fell 27% and IREN 32%. CoreWeave's unsecured debt yielded about 15%. On October 14, 2026, Gartner predicted that more than 80% of neocloud providers will stop operating independently by 2030. It also warned that more than $3.5 trillion of AI infrastructure spending could face impairment. Demand remains strong. CoreWeave co-founder Brannin McBee said nearly all of its 2027 capacity is sold.
