About the company

Omnilex is a Swiss legal-tech platform that provides an AI workspace for legal research and drafting by unifying Swiss statutes, court decisions, commentary, and a team’s documents. It grounds its outputs in these sources with citations, supports contract review by extracting key clauses and checking them against playbooks, and can be extended with no-code agents. The platform is model-agnostic, runs on Swiss-hosted cloud infrastructure in Zurich to preserve attorney‑client privilege, and publishes clearly cited AI-drafted Swiss commentary. Its goal is to make Swiss legal research and drafting faster, more accurate, and securely integrated for law firms, in‑house teams, public administrations, and insurers while staying compliant with ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and Swiss data protection.

What believers are saying

  • Omnilex claims 150 organizations by 2026 and named enterprise customers.
  • A March 2026 BSP partnership expands German-law commentary and credibility beyond Switzerland.
  • Recent 2026 customer stories in pensions, staffing, and cross-border contracts show expanding use cases.

What critics are saying

  • Legal AI rivals can bundle broader workflows faster than Omnilex's Swiss niche in 2026.
  • Its privacy story depends on Swiss hosting, yet Vercel processes website data in the USA.
  • If commentary quality or source coverage slips, lawyers abandon it for trusted incumbents.

What makes Omnilex unique

  • Omnilex combines Swiss statutes, cases, commentary, and firm documents in one workspace.
  • It publishes AI-generated legal commentary and links every answer back to sources.
  • Its Zurich-hosted, ISO/IEC 27001:2022-certified stack targets attorney secrecy and regulated buyers.

Omnilex raises $4.5M to revolutionize legal research with AI | Omnilex posted on the topic | LinkedIn

Omnilex raises $4.5M to build the future of legal research Most legal AI tools today retrieve trivial information. Omnilex can analyze a single research question across millions of court decisions, law articles, internal firm files, and now, our own AI-generated commentary. We’re excited to announce that Omnilex has raised $4.5 million in a Seed round led by Founderful, with participation from Plug and Play Tech Center, Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company, Angel Invest, and leading legal experts. In just three months, Omnilex has been adopted by over 6.000 legal professionals across Europe and has expanded its AI knowledge base to more than 200,000 legal commentaries. With this investment, we’ll deepen our AI’s capabilities, expand to new legal systems, and grow our team across key functions. All in pursuit of one mission: building the world’s most reliable AI workspace for legal research. We’re deeply grateful to our users and investors who share our conviction that the future of law is one where legal commentary is no longer just read - but created, and connected by AI. | 10 comments on LinkedIn
